Method 1: Using the Context Menu

Navigate to the folder or location where you want to create the new file.
Right-click in the folder or on the desktop to open the context menu.
Select "New":In the context menu, hover over the "New" option to reveal a submenu.
Choose File Type:From the submenu, select the type of file you want to create. Options may include "Text Document" (creates a new text file), "Folder" (creates a new folder), "Shortcut" (creates a shortcut to a program or file), and more.

You can immediately rename the file by clicking on its name and typing a new one.
Press Enter to confirm the new name, or simply click away to keep the default name.
