10. Working with any five commands in command prompt (DOS).


1. dir:

  • The dir command is used to list the files and directories in the current directory.
  • Example: dir or dir C:\Users
  • 2. cd:

  • The cd command is used to change the current directory.
  • Example: cd Documents (changes to the "Documents" directory)
  • 3. mkdir:

  • The mkdir command is used to create a new directory (folder).
  • Example: mkdir NewFolder (creates a directory named "NewFolder")
  • 4. copy:

  • The copy command is used to copy files from one location to another.
  • Example: copy file.txt C:\Backup (copies "file.txt" to the "C:\Backup" directory)
  • 5. del:

  • The del command is used to delete files.
  • Example: del oldfile.txt (deletes the file "oldfile.txt")
  • No comments:
